Decent content, slow delivery

I bought a subscription to Je lis déjà for my daughter. The content is excellent and she enjoys reading it. The website was easy enough to navigate when I placed the order. However, the delivery of the first issue took almost two weeks, which was a little frustrating. Subsequent issues have arrived more consistently, so it seems like an initial setup delay. Customer service was polite when I inquired about the delay, but couldn't speed it up. Good product, just wish delivery was quicker to start.

Love Histoires pour les petits!

Oh my goodness, I got the Histoires pour les petits subscription and it's fantastic! My little one adores it. The stories are so engaging and the illustrations are beautiful. I can't wait for the next issue to arrive. I'll totally be shopping here again for sure!

Great value on Tout comprendre

I was looking for a good magazine for my pre-teen and found Tout comprendre Junior. I checked a few sites and Fleurus Presse had the best offer for an annual subscription. The discount code I used worked without issue at checkout. It felt like a good saving compared to buying individual issues. For the content and price, I felt it was definitely worth the purchase.

Good first experience with Abricot

I ordered an Abricot subscription for my toddler. The ordering process on the website was straightforward, I found the options for different subscription lengths clear. Delivery took 8 days to reach me in Florida, which was a bit longer than I expected for the first issue, but it arrived in good condition. The magazine itself is well-made and my child loves the illustrations. I had a quick question about renewing closer to the end of the term, and customer service responded to my email within 24 hours with helpful information. Overall, a solid experience for educational content.

Reliable for Curionautes des sciences

This was my third time ordering from Fleurus Presse, this time for Curionautes des sciences. I've always had a good experience. The quality of the magazines is consistently high, and they usually arrive within a week of publication. It's why I keep coming back; I know what to expect and they deliver every time. No issues, just good, reliable service.

Are there usually any deals around Christmas? I want to get a gift subscription for 'Curionautes des sciences'.

N Nina Foster 3 weeks ago
Oh for sure! Christmas is one of their big promo times. You'll probably see something pop up closer to December, like a percentage off or maybe an extra issue.

Yep, they always have 'promo noël' sales. Keep an eye on their site or sign up for their newsletter, that's usually where they announce the good stuff.

Does anyone know if they ship to the US? I'm in New York and want to get 'National Geographic Kids France' for my bilingual kid.

M Megan 3 weeks ago
I think they do ship internationally! I remember seeing an option for it when I was checking out for my cousin in Canada. Might just take a bit longer.

They definitely ship overseas. My friend got a subscription sent to Australia last year, so NYC shouldn't be an issue. Just double check the shipping costs before you commit.

Hey, thinking of getting 'Le Monde des ados' for my niece. She's 14. Is that the right age group for it?

R Rosa 1 month ago
Yeah, I think so. My nephew is 15 and he loves it. It's definitely aimed at that teen crowd.

From what I remember, 'Le Monde des ados' is generally for like 13-17 year olds. So 14 should be perfect!

How long does it usually take for the first issue to arrive after subscribing? I'm in California.

A Andre Lindqvist 3 weeks ago
Since you're in the US, I'd say give it a few weeks for the first one. Mine took maybe 3-4 weeks to get to the East Coast.

Yeah, if it's coming from France, probably a bit. For domestic orders in France, it's quick, but international will always be slower. Budget a month to be safe.

What kind of payment options do they take? Just credit cards or PayPal too?

T Troy 3 weeks ago
I used my Visa when I subscribed last month, but I'm pretty sure they had other options too. I think I saw PayPal but don't quote me.

They take all the usual cards, like Visa, Mastercard. I'm almost certain they take PayPal now too, that's what I've used for other French sites recently.
